Hump Day Craft Post - Disney Character Shaped Autograph book

Regular readers will most likely recall my fondness for Disney autograph books. I have made at least 30.

So when friends of mine were returning to Disney, I wanted to make the kids a new book. But I wanted it to be a little different.

I asked them who their favorite characters were and attempted to make the books in their shapes.

I was pleasantly surprised by how they turned out.

They are cut from the Disney & friends cricut cartridge at 8 inches. The front and back are mirror images of each other and the pages are blackouts.

I used a cropidile to bind them with a simple key ring. The key ring is embelished with ribbon.

Thanks for visiting.

Made By Me Monday: Class of 2021

Sadly, summer is coming to a close. Last week, I posted some pictures of a first grade bulletin board I was working on.

This week I am sharing pictures of a third grade bulletin board I am working on. The current third graders are the Class of 2021 and our district vision statement stresses the importance of graduation. With that in mind, here are the little graduates I created with the cricut Everyday Paperdoll cartridge.

The diplomas will feature each students name.

Thanks for visiting.

Thanks for taking time to visit!

Made by Me Monday: first grade bulletin board idea

I am skippin' along with Lou today and posting some items I have cut for one of the first grade teachers in our building.

These sweet little cows are from the create a critter cartridge for the cricut and they are cut at 4 inches. The barns are cut at 4 1/2 inches and the grass strip is 1 1/4 inch by 8 1/2 inches.

The words, which are not pictured, are also at 4 inches and say "First Grade is Something To Moooooooo about."

Hump Day Craft Post: a birthday invitation

This is the birthday invitation I made for Middle G's 10th birthday party. She wanted to have a tie dye theme. I had a lot of trouble finding tie dye paper, so I made the paper by photocopying one of the birthday napkins. I think it turned out great and would use that method again in the future.

The turtle is from the Best of Pixar cricut cart. For obvious reasons, I am a little partial to Squirt. Middle G loved the saying and told everyone, even random strangers, what her birthday invites said.

Thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. If you are posting a craft today, I'd love to come over and see it.
