Let's Get Crafty Saturday - those scrapbook pics I promised long ago
Last weekend I went away with my friend, Megan. Ten years ago, we met in a Baby & Me class when our oldest children liked us a lot more than they do now. We stayed in a hotel and scrapped the weekend away.
I made 35 pages!
We went out for Mexican Food Friday night.
We had margaritas.
But we ate almost an entire bag of chips and salsa.
I remembered my swimsuit; Megan forgot hers.
0 hours in the pool.
0 hours in the jacuzzi.
I woke up with a headache on Saturday.
Megan laughed at me because I took Ibuprofen from the housekeeper.
Do you think it is funny that I asked the housekeeper for meds?
We went to Walmart in our PJs on Saturday night.
We were better dressed than most.
Megan needed more adhesive.
I scrapped pictures from September into December.
of 2007....
Megan is still scrapping 2005....

We had a really good time and it was great to see her. It has been over a year since we've been able to get away. We used to live within 20 minutes of each other when both our families lived in Ohio.
Now I'm in Pennsylvania and she is in New York. Six hours separate us, but we still remain great friends. Looking forward to a chance to see her again in the fall. What did you make today?

Your pages are so good looking! I love the ones with the black lines on them.
How great that you've stayed friends for so long! (And I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who is terribly terribly far behind in scrapbooking ... not that I do it all that often. It was more of a whim after I had the Little One. His scrapbook stops at 4 months old.)
These are great layouts!
I love your scrapbooking style...simple, but still so creative. I love the page with the circles.
Your pages are wonderful...I think scrap booking is a great way to keep your memories, I just dont have the patience for it.
What a great way to spend time with your girlfriend. I would have bummed ibuprofen off the maid too :)
