Today was one of those days
Today was one of those days for me. A day where if I were, indeed, a turtle, I would have preferred to spend the day like this guy.
My family and I said goodbye to little Ike today. It was an emotionally draining day. Please continue to pray for my cousin, her husband and their 2-year old daughter. The holidays will be an exceptionally difficult time for them.
My grandfather has improved enough to return to the nursing home. Not that living there is much of an improvement. However, his release has brought a little light back to my grandmother's eyes. They will be married 61 years on Thanksgiving!

Gosh, I am SO sorry for your family's loss. And I'm sure the holidays make it all the more heartbreaking. I hope tomorrow is better for you.
On a lighter note, your 10 ways to survive the holidays was hilarious! :D
Hugs. I am so sorry you and your family have to deal with so much right now. Saying goodbye is always hard but I cannot imagine doing it with such a tiny baby.
