Weekend Update: Hello Fall
We had a good time but as you can see from my sexy hat, the weather has changed from Poolside Party to Crap it's Cold.
We had some drinks, saw some funny shows, watched a human chess match and saw an overly dramatic joust. It was a fun way to spend a Sunday.
Saturday was also cold. The in laws were visiting and we managed to actually squeeze in a soccer game. The first game Middle G has played in this season. Two were cancelled for flash flooding and the other one we were at a wedding.
Even though her mom told her is was damn cold outside this is how Middle G. dressed.

What does mom know anyway? We found some sweatpants in the van and for awhile she actually wore them. Of course, keeping them on would have been admitting she was wrong.
Friday night was a blast. Went to a breast cancer fundraiser with a bunch of friends. Danced a little, ate a little and drank a little. Late night filled with tons of fun--one of those evenings where your face hurts from smiling and laughing so much.

I had a very nice weekend! Nothing too exciting on Saturday, but on Sunday the kids, Mom and I went out to Viddler's which is an old fashion 5 & 10 in a town not too far from us. We hadn't been there in a while and it is a ball just to roam around and look at all the cool things that you didn't think they made anymore. My kids had fun buying candy etc. from my childhood. Turkish Taffy, Fizzies (drink tablets) and candy sticks.
Then we went to dinner at Outback - totally yummy!
My weekend was a bit calmer than yours. And I didn't get to wear a colorful hat. (Of course, it's still around 90 degrees here... not that that's what kept me from wearing that colorful hat.)
It did get much cooler this past weekend. I like! You rock the sexy hat!
Darn! Jenners stole my line about the hat!
