Back from North Carolina - safe and sound

The kids and I made it safely back and forth to North Carolina!  I hate driving around Baltimore and Washington, but we did it and we didn't have any problems.  The weather cooperated and the so did the van.  Kids enjoyed A.LOT. of movies.

We watched our beloved Steelers come from behind to beat the Baltimore Ravens....my least favorite NFL team of all times.  That was my Superbowl so I don't even care if we lose next week.  The Ravens aren't in the Superbowl and quite frankly that is all the matters.

We celebrated my niece's 7th birthday at a bowling alley.  Noisy party but a lot of fun.  I am a much better bowler on the Wii than I am in real life.

My sister highlighted my hair.  It looks surprisingly good for $6.49.

What did you do this weekend?

I think EVERYONE is better at Wii bowling than real-life bowling. If not, my son needs to turn pro!

Glad you got there and back and had some fun along the way.

And since my Eagles are out, I'll be happy to root for your Steelers.

I suck at bowling, both Wii and real, haha!

I need someone to do my hair! You should see how bad I am at doing it myself. Love your smile in that picture. Glad that you all had a great time. Happy for your Steelers!

My kids were in Philly this weekend with some cousins and friends, so the house was pretty quiet.
Sunday, we had a pot luck crop at My Happy Place and I got some scrapping done, then got the evening to scrap again last night.
Pretty low key here for the weekend. Funny how things changed when the 18 and 20 yr olds got home on Monday evening!

And here I thought the last picture was of you finally admitting to being a martian in training. {*grin*}
