Wordful Wednesday - Pappy G

Grandfathers are just antique little boys. ~Author Unknown

A child needs a grandparent to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world. ~Charles and Ann Morse

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudolph Giuliani

There is no grandfather who doesn't adore his grandson. - Victor Hugo

I love this photo because even though my father-in-law is somewhat afraid to go into the pool he is willing to sit there, facing his fear, with his grandson.

The things we will do for the ones that we love.

Happy Wordful Wednesday. To read more posts click on Angie's button below.

What great quotes along with a darling picture! My favorite quote was the first one, "Grandfathers are just antique little boys". Very cute.

Happy Wordful Wednesday!

Really touching. I never got the chance to know my grandfathers. Sorry that my kids didn't get to know theirs either. I know that it must be such a special relationship. Love the quotes and the photo :)

Grandfathers are great! I still miss mine after all these years.

TW, you need to think harder of me winning the lottery - it hasn't happened yet!
