Friday High Five - My five favorite photos from the zoo
Can you believe it? I actually got the shot I wanted to get yesterday. See....her tongue is hanging out! How cool is that? The zoo has this new giraffe section that allows you to go in and feed the giraffe. How awesome is that? My son was soooo excited. He was screaming "Look a giraffe, a giraffe!" and then he was saying "I love your birthday mom!" It was really funny because their was a HUGE sign saying "shhhh, please be quiet while the giraffes are on exhibit."
I know this doesn't look like much, but this is Samson--the baby elephant. He's only on display for a few hours a day and even though he was already in the back with his mama, he came out to say hello.
Oldest stuck in the turtle...LOL. Like I said I learned my lesson last year when I wedged myself in one of these. I must admit, though, I was tempted. LOL
Middle daughter, her friend and "baby" Mason (he is a very real looking doll) inside a bird nest. The kids had a really good time.
Who doesn't love prairie dogs? Here is the guard dog keeping a look out for predators. Do you think I should tell him he's at the zoo or continue to play along with the charade?BTW - the winner of my adhesive giveaway is Crystal who said Congrats on 400! YAY! I follow your blog already because I think you are hilarious with your adventures! How about fondant for sticking stuff together? Or icing? Can you tell I have cake on my mind? LOL Crystal email me as your blog is private and I can't get in touch with you.
