Post It Note Tuesday - back in the saddle again
I'm supposed to wear something plaid on Friday and apparently I'm the only person who doesn't own a thing beside PJ bottoms that are plaid. I'm thinking about making a shirt that says "White is the new plaid". What do you think?
So we have a "fake" intruder trying to get into our elementary school to test our security measures. If that ain't a kick in the face I don't know what is. Let's pretend that a "real" intruder isn't going to just strong arm his way in. Likely through the cafeteria. (insert sad sigh here)
Mr. Fake you don't stand a chance. We are a small school and we know who belongs.
Our milk crates have warnings on them about it being punishable by law to remove them. I have to take a picture because the mere thought of this makes me laugh.
The Farmer's almanac, which correctly predicted both February blizzards, has 56 inches of snow falling in the first week of March.
Let's get serious. I'm only 62 inches tall.

I'm not sure I can imagine what my neighborhood will look like with another 18 inches of snow!
3-18? Those are dress sizes people. Narrow it down a little!

Post It Note Tuesday - Steeler addition
Last January I posted a lot about my beloved Steelers. I posted about their greatness and their Six-peat! I bragged it up quite a bit.
This season there weren't too many mentions.
Probably because we sucked it up a bit with loses to crappy teams like Kansas City, Oakland and Cleveland.
Probably because we lost Troy.
Seeing that Pittsburgh went from superbowl champs to not-in the playoff chumps, I thought I would flash back just 12 short months....

I know everyone thinks Moore and Mendenhall are the way to go but I'm not a big fan of all the spinning. Just run straight!
Honestly, when you lose I get quite irrated. But nothing is worse than losing to the Balti-morons!

Post It Note Tuesday - what do you have to say?
It's time for Post It Note Tuesday...R U playing along? If not, why not....it's soo much fun!
Yep, it's true. A little kindergartner tossed his cookies right onto his lunch tray today. Ugh. It totally made me loose my appetite.

Such and easy clean up (minus the vomit). No gravy. No corn. Just sandwiches and tater tots. Gotta love that.
A great plan concocted by my neighbors and I. No kids allowed in the wagon. Only alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend this.
My dad drove 3 hours one way to spend six hours at my house. He went to the soccer game at which his wife complained about the weather and it was beautiful but windy. Then he sat on my couch and watched football while his three grandchildren trick or treated without him. He left at 7:30 p.m. before oldest even got back from TorTing?

Post It Note Tuesday - what will you say?
We pause this weekly post to bring you a holiday craft. Inspired by Going Buggy, I made this to hang up at the cafeteria. The ghosts are from the cricut paper doll cart as is the spider and the spiderweb. I painted the wreath black and wrapped it in orange.
Yesterday we had smile fries at work. You'd think elementary kids would eat them, but alas....they eat nothing.
Last night we carved our jack-o-lanterns. I think I may have had more fun than the kids. Just curious...do you bake and eat your seeds or is that just some hillbilly tradition we have in our family?
