Lessons from the Lunchlady: Ready or Not...
Photo Credit The Awesome Terry Border |
The countdown has begun.
Many neighboring school districts have already started.
We're last out of the starting gate with our Tuesday morning beginning, but barring anything unforeseen, I think (swalling hard), I'm ready.
The food has arrived.
The milk and bread have been ordered, due to arrive on Monday.
Produce may make an appearance on Tuesday.
Fingers crossed.
Guess there's nothing left to do but see what we can learn.
Tune in next week...

- I'm a 41 year old (gasp) freelance writer, school cafeteria manager, wife and mother. I have three children and one anxious and overweight beagle. I use my blog to make others laugh, to share some cool crafts, to document my lunchlady adventures and to lament about the challenges faced by us all on the journey called life. Thanks for visiting. Please leave some crack...um...I meant some comments.

Let me then take this opportunity to wish you all the best in your new position as the new bitchy boss of the school cafeteria. I know you can do it. You just have to repeat it to yourself over and over and over again! :D
Hugs

I think NY state has the latest start dates in the country. Our district doesn't start until after Labor Day.
Good luck and have some fun!
Always something exciting about the start of a new school year. What fun!
Oh, I'm so excited about you going back to work!
Good luck with the school year both in your job AND with your kids! Can't wait to see what new knowledge I can gleam from your blog!
It is a big year for you but you'll do great.
