It's hard to be funny when you feel like crap

(clears throat attempts to stand but realizes it isn't worth it) It's official, I am SICK. It takes a lot for me to admit that.

It started Saturday with my inability to swallow and progressed from there. Now I am convinced that my head weighs approximately 30 pounds and this extra weight is not distrubted equally.

I broke down and sought medically treatment, not just because my husband is out of the country, not just because we are on a three day winter break from school and I am considering eating my young, not just because my inlaws are living with me for the week, not just because the freakin' toilets won't stop overflowing, not just because the beagle is clearly depressed, but mostly because it was either see the doctor or remove my ear with a can opener.

The later seemed messy and I'd likely have to clean it up so I opted for the doctor.

I have medication for my ear infection/sinus infection.

I am told that I will feel significantly better in 48 hours.

Just in time to return to work.

So much for winter break.

I'm on a preventative inhaler, new allergy meds, a nasal inhaler, and albuterol. Apparently, I'm stuck in a sinusitis/asthma vicious cycle. So that' s fun. Except not really. I feel your pain.

So sorry that you aren't feeling well. I hope that medication knocks it right out of you!
I also wanted to say thanks for all the lovely comments on my blog.
Sometimes I wonder if people are even stopping by, I check the stats and see that they are stopping, but wonder who they are. It's nice to know that you are one of them. Thanks!

Apparently you the meds kicked in because this was pretty funny! I mean, not that you are sick, but this posting!

I am sorry that you are not feeling well - plus - sounds like a helluva lot going on in your household!

I have been sick since the end of December. I am sick of being sick. Is that even possible? Went to the immediate care today. I have bronchitis. Put on 2 meds (to add to the tons I'm already on for daily living). I should feel better in a few days, that is, if I don't cough my head off and it goes rolling down the block.

Oh, pobresita! What a way to spend your break. Hope the backed-up toilets and backed-up head (and inlaws!!!) are clear soon.

Oh that totally sucks. I hope you get better quicker than that! (Sounds like a lot going on around you .. what with the toilets and a depressed dog.)
