An Open Letter to Mother Nature
Dear Mother Nature,
What did I do that pissed you off?
Why do you wish me to remain trapped inside my house with threeinsane energetic children?
Seriously, 50 inches of snow in less than one week is outrageous.
This is the corner where my kids catch the bus and that is me standing at the stop sign. I am 5 foot 2 and I think the bus driver may have trouble finding my six year old should we attempt to have school tomorrow.
As you may or may not be aware, my mail carrier is af**king bitch bit lazy and likes to pass up my mailbox on a regular basis.
This isn't going to help matters.
Can you guess what this is? This is the little path we were able to make revealing the sidewalk that lies beneath. The red thing in the distance, oh that's my neighbors truck.
Personally I blame the rodent.
He just had to see his shadow. Of course what does he care, he lives in a climate controlled environment with a servant who wears a top hat!
So seriously, Mother Nature, what gives?
Buried in PA,

P.S. The kids still think you rock.

Let's face it. My neighbors are never going to swing on this swing set again.

Kids can always find the best in things, which is why they are so great! Sorry about being snowed in like that though! And wow..your mail carrier needs to do her job!
At this point my letter to mother nature would read....Dear MN, die bitch!
seriously, wtf!
HAHA Great post!
I do not know what I would do...I'm from Az and we got a total of 5 inches (possibly) my whole time growing up. We would get so excited to go outside during school to go play in the HAIL (we would think it was snow)! ROFL!!
I can't complain about snow after looking at those pictures. Your mailbox looks so lonely out there :)
I think it's great that all that snow that usually falls here is there. {*grin*}
No snow and 50's here in Colorado.
BTW, don't blame Phil - blame the TV lights that faked him out.
Boy, oh, boy-- I can hardly believe my eyes! Good thing shovels and snow plows can't talk, OR SWEAR! Such incredible amounts of snow! The positive side: Have you ever seen happier faces on the children? LOL!
Stay safe, stay warm!
When you send this letter, add my name to it as well. I feel the same way. Though of course your letter will never get picked up by your evil mail carrier!
Holy Cow that is a lot of snow! At least the kids are enjoying it!
You crack me up! 50 inches?! That is crazy!!! I just adore that last picture of the kids!
