Blizzard 2010 update: afternoon photos

It has officially stopped snowing here. After having helped my hubby dig
out the driveway I would have to say that we got about 28 inches of snow. It is more snow than I ever remember seeing falling at one time. Below is a picture of my almost 11 year old in our front yard.

Here is middle G standing in what I think is our driveway but who can tell. The kids were so excited. They were outside three separate times, the first time at 8 a.m.

Here is little G. He had a lot of trouble walking in this much snow. It was funny, but not. I was worried that he was actually going to get stuck. He kept losing his boot.

Here is my hubby trying to snow blow the driveway. It is a difficult task when the snow is over the top of the snow blower. Between the two of us it took us more than 1 1/2 hours to dig out most of the driveway and then another hour to dig out the plowed in bottom.

And last but not least here I am standing in the front yard. I'm only 5'2" but the snow actually came up to top of my legs. I won't soon forget the blizzard of 2010.
