Blizzard 2010 update: afternoon photos
It has officially stopped snowing here. After having helped my hubby dig
out the driveway I would have to say that we got about 28 inches of snow. It is more snow than I ever remember seeing falling at one time. Below is a picture of my almost 11 year old in our front yard.
Here is middle G standing in what I think is our driveway but who can tell. The kids were so excited. They were outside three separate times, the first time at 8 a.m.
Here is little G. He had a lot of trouble walking in this much snow. It was funny, but not. I was worried that he was actually going to get stuck. He kept losing his boot.

Here is my hubby trying to snow blow the driveway. It is a difficult task when the snow is over the top of the snow blower. Between the two of us it took us more than 1 1/2 hours to dig out most of the driveway and then another hour to dig out the plowed in bottom.

3 random thoughts:
Isnt it funny how when we are young the more snow that falls the happier we seem..........but as we age its just like OH HELL!

Yes that storm is just amazing!! I can't believe it. I hope you had a good stock of supplies to keep you guys warm and busy in the house for awhile :) Looks like you'll be having some snow days!! :)
