I usually fail miserably at any attempt at New Year's Resolutions.
With that nice clean slate looming before me I always think, "I can totally do that."
But I soon realize that the likelihood I am going to actually scrapbook one page a day for all 365 days of 2013 is negative 6.
That being said let's talk realistic resolutions that we may have a slight chance of keeping.
1. I am going to scrapbook one page a month.
2. I am going to call my grandma twice a month.
3. I am going to treat others the way I want to be treated.
4. I am going to laugh at least once everyday.
5. I am going to make some else laugh everyday.
What do you resolve?

your resolutions are really good i like them
ReplyDeleteRealisitic resolutions are the key to success. I'm working on mine and will post about them in the next week or so. (Obviously, doing things in a timely manner isn't one of them. HA!)
ReplyDeleteI'm really bad at resolutions, too, but the whole clean slate of the new year makes it hard not to want to do *something* to improve on the last. There's the usual suspect, "Lose some weight." And there's the whole I want to stop being overwhelmed by all my stuff thing, so I've casually resolved to get rid of at least one thing every day all year long. I got rid of lots of things today, so I'm ahead of the game. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a good year so far, and that your excellent resolutions prove to be attainable!
One of the things I plan to do is get back to my scrapbooking. I have been on 3 design teams this year and it just got to be overwhelming and all I seemed to do was make cards and projects for the teams. Don't get me wrong, I loved every minute of all that creativity. But that being said, it's all I got the time to create. I really need to get back to doing some of my scrapbooking! I'm staying on one team so I'll still be doing the cards, but scrapbooking was my first love and I need to get back to it.
ReplyDeleteI think you have come up with some very sensible resolutions, I'm sure you'll do well with them.
The making someone else laugh once a day is completely achievable for you! I always make completely unrealistic resolutions and laugh at myself once I fail miserably at them!! Oh well there's always the next new year, right?!
