Happy Blogiversary to me!

Today is my blogiversary.  Yipee.  I feel so accomplished.  I started something last February and here it is February again and I'm still doing it.  Of course, it was much more sporatic back then.  I posted only when I was moved, now I'm apparently moved much more often.

I said I was going to host a contest today and that it woud probably involve a poem.  Since tonight's my daughter's 10th birthday party I let her decide.  She wants to ask you five Harry Potter questions (the theme of our party) and have you write a poem about what it is like to turn 10.  I said this might be hard because that was a long time ago for some of us.

But, I digress.

Here's your trivia questions...Big G will pick the winner on Tuesday, February 24th, which is her actual birthday and then we will come up with a great prize. 

We currently don't know what that prize is, but it will be great!

    jeez ... you guys are super duper into Harry Potter. I loved those books. They are the best. I wish she was still writing them.

    I'll have to think about the poem some before I can do it. I'm a little tired right now. : )

    Happy Blogiversary Wendy!!! And Happy 10th birthday to Greta!!

    Ok, so I cannot do the Mr Linky thing and put this post on MY blog because (yes, I know I am an adult, but we still have to listen to our mom's sometime!) my Mom would FREAK if she knew I have read ALL the HP books more than once and seen every movie at least twice! hehehe

    When I was ten
    Way back then
    I did not have a clue

    That years in the future
    I would sit at a computer
    and write this poem for you

    Those carefree days
    and sunshine's rays
    are happy in my mind's eye

    I played and ran
    I danced and swam
    I love those days in hindsight

    So dance and run
    and swim and jump
    and follow your dreams to the end

    For when you are grown
    and out on your own
    you will miss these days, my friend

    After reading theres I aint even going to try..LLOLOL
    They blew it out the FIELD HOME RUNS..
    I knew the rat was a hand me down But I could not remember How his toe got gone..:O(
